Fallen (2006) Mini Series: Everything You Missed in the Three-Part Event

Fallen is a 2006 ABC Family miniseries based on The Fallen series of novels by Thomas Sniegoski, and broken into three parts. The first part was originally advertised as an "ABC Family Original Movie", but nearly a year later, it was followed up with two other parts of equal length over the course of a weekend. Fallen stars Paul Wesley as Aaron Corbett, a good-natured high school student who discovers he is a Nephilim, human-angel hybrid. An alternate reality game advertising the series won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Interactive Program.

Although I enjoyed the world which is created in this film, the film definitely has its flaws. Apart from Paul Wesley and the child who plays his brother, the acting is quite poor. Especially the villain, meeenn I don't even know what is going on there. The CGI made me giggle & I loved the dog character, so I guess I will be finishing this miniseries one way or another ;)

Lucifer, also called "The Light Bringer," is an antagonist appearing in the 2007 ABC Family miniseries Fallen, which is loosely based on the book series The Fallen by Thomas E. Sniegoski.

Aaron Corbet, the protagonist of the miniseries, goes in search of the Light Bringer, the one who wrote the prophecy about the Redeemer, hoping to make sense of his destiny. When Aaron finds him in the remains of a temple in the mountains, the Light Bringer reveals that his actual name is Lucifer and that he is Aaron's biological father. When a shocked Aaron tries to leave the temple, Lucifer insists he's not the monster that everyone else has made him out to be.

In the miniseries FALLEN, a typical teen finds his world turned upside down as he discovers that he's really half-human, half-angel. Paul Wesley (Everwood, American Dreams) plays Aaron Corbett, a likeable 18-year-old who -- after experiencing disturbing nightmares and discovering that he can talk to his dog and stop time -- realizes something strange is going on. But it's not until he meets Zeke (Emmy winner Tom Skerritt of Picket Fences and Top Gun), a fallen angel hoping to redeem himself, that Aaron realizes that his newfound powers mean he's the chosen one who can bridge the gap between the angels and mortals and good and evil.

The Fallen might be hard to find online. Its an oldie but a goodie and a guilty pleasure all in one. The show aired as a miniseries in 2006 during a time when the concept of angels was in high demand. The show was based on a book series titled The Fallen by Thomas Sniegoski. The books were developed into a three-part miniseries.

The Cybertron Heroes range was an ambitious line of 6-inch, transformable, partially die-cast toys aimed at collectors. Intending to pull characters from all corners of the Transformers franchise, the line is mostly remembered today for being the sole release venue for toys based on Dreamwave Productions's War Within comics. Every figure in the line was designed in conjunction with artist Don Figueroa, and they were either based on pre-existing toys or designs Figueroa had himself created while pencilling the original The War Within miniseries... though Hasbro-Galoob's adherence to his designs varied wildly.

Lest we think DC cornered the market on futuristic senior superheroes, Marvel features an elderly (and decidedly NON-feeble) version of the Hulk in the two-issue Future Imperfect mini-series (1993). 2ff7e9595c
